The A-H4Dx is an A-BUS® 4-zone audio distribution hub used  toexpand from the 4 modules connected to the A-H4D to make an 8-zone system. The typical system would consist of an A-H4D, A-PS and up to four A-BUS® amplified modules. If more than 4 A-BUS® amplified modules are needed the A-H4Dx expands the system beyond four rooms to eight total A-BUS® amplified modules.

The A-H4Dx Expansion Hub increases a basic in-wall A-BUS system from four to eight rooms. It supports up to four A-BUS Amplified Keypads or Amplified Volume Controls.

Installing in the same wall box as the A-H4D hub, the A-H4Dx occupies an extra gang in the wall plate. Additional Expansion Hubs can be used for more zones, up to the practical limit imposed by the wall box. Each A-H4Dx requires its own A-PS power supply.
